Grocery Store Deals (Harris Teeter / Walmart / Aldi) for 4/11 - 4/17

This week I went to Harris Teeter, Walmart and Aldi.  This was a week when I didn't spend much, trying to stay in budget (spent a little too much at the beginning of the month.)

Harris Teeter

As you can see I really only went for a few things at a great savings.  I was able to purchase 6 packs of Jumbo Huggies / Pampers diapers ( I know there is only 5 shown, I already needed to use one pack before I was able to take the picture) and 3 green works cleaning products.

Total retail price:  $79.31 - $20.50 (manufactorer coupons) - $32.47 sale savings = $26.34 OOP

Total Savings:  66%

Aldi's
(sorry no picture, I forgot :-)

Garden Salad bag, 2 packs of baby carrots, tomatoes, 2 cucumbers, and sweet gummy bunnie.  I really needed to pick up some fresh vegetables and they usually have the best prices.

Total OOP:  $5.68

Walmart

I picked up a bag of Sun Chips (thanks to my free coupon), eyeliner (another free coupon), 2 benedryl sticks, 3 Life Savor single packs of candy,  pack bics razors for men,  pack bic razors for women, 2 travel size Old Spice body wash, 2 - 2 liters of 7 up (not pictured) and an adorable new t-shirt for my youngest.

Total retail price:  $33.98 - $27.51 manufactorer coupons - $1.50 clearance savings shirt = $4.97 OOP
( I had 6 coupons that were for more than the amounts of the items they were for, some over a $1 - my cashier adjusted each coupon for the exact amount, so no overage )

Total savings:  85%

Total OOP for week: $55.55 Total % saved for week: 72%

Total OOP for month: $271.66 Total % saved for month: 75%
Total left in budget: $ 78.34

  1. Hey, you did great! I'm pretty good about getting good deals on food, but I tend not to extend that to deals on clothes. That's something I need to work on! (Also, I'm a new follower!)

Thanks for stopping by Wednesday Weekly Shopping at Frugal Follies! New linkup tomorrow!
